Huntington Beach -African Marketplace

A special event worth looking into:

Huntington Beach Reads One Book presents an International Craft Fair,
featuring an African Marketplace at the Central Library, Lower Level, Rooms C & D
7111 Talbert Avenue, Huntington Beach
6:00 p.m. Thursday, February 25 
The merchants selling their handicrafts are women who were forced to flee their homes in Africa. Shop the world with a percentage of the sales proceeds benefitting women’s shelters and orphanages in Africa. Along with great shopping, beginning at 7:00 p.m., representatives from the International Rescue Committee, Drop in the Bucket, and Jewish World Watch will present an overview of their outreach efforts to refugees in the Sudan region. Downtown Art Walk in Huntington Beach Starting February 17th

The Downtown Art Walk will kick off on Wednesday, February 17th, from 6 – 9 pm.  The Huntington Beach Downtown Business Improvement District is presenting this new program, which highights talented local artists.  What a pleasant way to enjoy the ambiance of Huntington Beach!
