Sunset Beach - Orange County's Best Kept Secret!

Where can you find Ocean and Harbor View property at a fraction of the cost of most beach cities? Sunset Beach. Sunset Beach’s small peninsula is located between Huntington Beach and Seal Beach. The unincorporated town of just 1200 residents is a sleepy little beach town with a very tight knit community. You can walk in a local bar and just like the TV show, Cheers, “everybody knows your name.” Due to the fact that it is not well known, home prices remain lower than other local beach towns. This unique town has its own Post Office where neighbors meet to pick up their mail. You can walk or ride your bike to restaurants, nautical shops or small markets, and the beautiful beach is just steps away from any home. Best known for its amazing sunsets, Sunset Beach has a sprawling, beautiful sandy beach, and many of the homes have amazing views of the ocean and the harbor.  Star Real Estate, with one of the only real estate offices in Sunset, is there to serve the residents with home sales and rentals.

Star Holds 29th Annual Santa Day

Santa once again came to visit Star Real Estate in Huntington Beach at Brookhurst and Atlanta, where the neighbors and clients of Star associates were invited to take a free photo with Santa, and to enjoy punch and home-made cookies after. The children were given a balloon and toy, and this year pets were given their own treat bag! The pageantry of families dressed up for Santa, some with their pets, and the colorful holiday attire warms the heart and starts off the yuletide spirit with zest!

Next year, save the first weekend in December for your visit with Santa.  You’ll find a wealth of old-fashioned Christmas spirit at Star Real Estate, one of the largest independent real estate companies in Orange County.

Huntington Harbour Boat Parade

Visit Orange County and enjoy the Boat Parade, held in Huntington Harbour. The 2009 Boat Parade is on December 12th and 13th. An annual tradition, started in 1963, it encourages neighbors to decorate their homes and boats to fill harbor residents and thousands of people from Orange County with early holiday spirit. It also provides the setting for the Cruise of Lights®, held this year from December 17th through the 23rd. This event allows over 25,000 people to cruise the waterways, gladly paying the ticket price each year for a fun event. The Cruise of Lights® is the Huntington Harbour's main fund raising event in support of Orange County’s children’s music education and appreciation programs. Join  us in the Boat Parade and Cruise of Lights for 2009!
